Filmmaker, Director, Producer, Editor, Storyteller
These are all titles that I use to describe myself.
I have 15 years of professional experience in visual content creation as a video producer, director, editor, and stills photographer. I value emotion, storytelling, and creative vision as I help brands/orgs craft impactful human stories.
I grew up in Texas in a home that encouraged artistic practice and exploration from an early age. By the time I was late in high school (after much painting, drawing, printmaking), I realized that I was actually most interested in moving images and storytelling.
I went to Savannah College of Art & Design and played college basketball for NBA All Star Cazzie Russell. I also met my lovely wife in beautiful Savannah.
I completed a BFA in Film/Video from SCAD in 2006. Then about a year after that, my first child arrived. Yada yada yada, here I am 15+ years later with a few more kids. I’ve also been able to travel extensively (including the Andes, the tiny islands of the Central Pacific Ocean, and the grasslands of Africa) to film and produce. And all the while residing in the USA, I’ve been able to live near the beach, in the mountains, and also deep within Suburbia. So here at the end of this little personal bio, I give thanks for past experiences and am expectant for more adventures. To God be the glory.
